Citation
Description The chapter analyzes two contemporary collaborative life writing narratives by Australian Indigenous authors - Auntie Rita (1994) by Rita and Jackie Huggins, and Kayang and Me (2005) by Kim Scott and Hazel Brown. It examines the narrative transgression of collaboration, resulting in "dual" narrative voice. The chapter puts the two narratives in the context of the history of Australian Aboriginal life writing, dialogic narratives and ethics of collaboration.
