| Description | The book deals with various exhibitions of human behaviour in time and space with a special focus on everyday activitites and mobility in urban space which are investigated from the time-geographical perspective. Besides theoretical concepts and methods being used in the research of spatial behaviour the authors present specific applications on concrete topics illustrated by results of empirical studies. The spectrum of related issues moves from everyday activitites through retail and shopping behaviour to transport patterns and spatial mobility. The book focuses also on some specific population segments which are endangered by social isolation (seniors, mothers on maternal leave) and physically handicaped people. |
