Description The principle „Ignoratia legis neminem excusat“ is a tool for law enforcement. Never, however, was not unconditional. Development of society we must look to whether the principle still really valid, respectively how to remove undesirable consequences, and where appropriate, how to set appropriate conditions this principle. Strict application of the principle for law enforcement purposes is counterproductive when there is a loss of legitimacy of the legislature.
