Description | Schizophrenia is a serious disease, which can only partially be influenced by contemporary pharmacological treatment. Due to low adherence, a high degree of pharmacoresistance, associated with the progress of the disease, and deterioration of the socioeconomic status of patients, there is a logical pressure on augmenting treatments of negative symptoms, even if further large clinical studies are necessary to verify the natural benefit of this method for general clinical practice. |
