CEEPUS

CEEPUS is a Central European university exchange programme that enables students of all levels (BA, MA and PhD) to travel to the Balkans and Central Europe for study or research, as well as teachers, either within existing faculty networks or by their own arrangement as a CEEPUS Freemover.

For whom is the programme designed for?

The programme is designed for:

  • full-time students of bachelor programmes (from the end of the second semester),
  • full-time students of master's and doctoral programmes,
  • university teachers

What is a university network?

A university network is focused on a particular subject area. A list of faculty networks can be found below on this page. If you are not studying in the selected departments, it is possible to go there as a CEEPUS Freemover.

Can I travel outside of a university network?

The university network allows mobility only within the networks in which MU is involved. If you have not found a network suitable for your field of study, you can use CEEPUS Freemover. This programme allows you to travel through any university network, even if our university is not directly involved in it. More information can be found on the DZS website or in the FAQs on the CEEPUS portal.

Which countries can you go to?

You can travel to the following countries:

Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Macedonia, Moldova, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia, Montenegro.

What is the length of stay?

The length of stay varies by category, but usually 1 to 4 months. The scholarship can be awarded for a shorter period and can be reapplied for, but the maximum duration is limited to 10 months.

Teachers are required to teach at least 6 hours over 5 working days.

What is the amount of the scholarship?
