COMPULSORY PE COURSES

• The University Sports Centre (USC) of the Faculty of Sports Studies (FSpS) provides full-time students at Masaryk University with PE sports courses.

• All full-time students (except the students studying the program Teaching at Nursery Schools at the Faculty of Education and the students at the FSpS) are obliged to meet the conditions for receiving two credits in PE during their Bachelor, or long-term Master degree programs (1 course = 1 credit) by completing PE courses at the FSpS listed under codes P9...

• Students can choose from the offer of PE courses according to their sports focus, interest, and time possibilities. The offer is displayed in the IS and on the website of the FSpS (see Schedule of PE Courses displayed at www.fsps.muni.cz/cus/). Students can enroll in the same course repeatedly.

• It is possible to register one PE course (P9…) plus one summer/winter sports course listed under code P997 during one semester.

• PE courses can be completed in any semester of the study.

• After completing two compulsory PE courses P9... (2 credits), only PE courses listed under codes C9... can be registered (see below).

• Only on the grounds of a written medical recommendation, or athletes regularly participating in top sports competitions, or those who want their credits from PE courses completed when studying another degree program to be recognized can request for the health or sports exemption. PAID FORM OF PE COURSES

• The USC in cooperation with the Centre of Lifelong Learning at the FSpS offers a paid form of PE courses. These optional paid courses are listed under codes C9... After completing such a course, students receive a credit (1 course = 1 credit). This offer is geared to all students at MU in all study programs with no limitations.

• Students do NOT register for these seminar groups via the MU IS, but via the Shopping Centre. In the IS MU, these seminar groups are only displayed for timetable reasons.

• ATTENTION!!! – The completion of any PE course C9… does NOT replace the obligation to complete 2 compulsory P9… PE courses.

• In addition to regular sports courses, the USC organizes commercial sports events and workshops for students and those who are interested (these are offered via the Centre of Lifelong Learning). This offer is displayed here (PAID FORM OF PE COURSES, it is updated regularly).

OTHER SPORTS EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
