On Wednesday, September 14, we look forward to seeing you at the picnic in the courtyard outside the library.
If you are not registered at the library, you can fix this in person (on the 1st floor of the main building) or online. Registration will allow you to borrow books from the open access collection (that's the shelves in the study rooms) or from the stacks. We also have board games. You can find the full scope of ours and other faculty libraries in the shared online catalogue.

There are several spaces you can use. The main library building is for quiet study, the Reading Room with kaFFe café counter is for relaxation and discussion, and the Group Study Rooms are for collaborative work. Computers and scanners are available on each of the four floors of the main building. In the self-service area on the ground floor, you will find multifunctional equipment for printing, scanning and copying.

We offer assistance to help you cope with your studies. You can attend our lessons and workshops. They are designed for all levels of study and are, of course, completely free of charge. We cover information retrieval and citation, time management and critical thinking. We organize lessons and workshops only in the Czech language. If you are interested in education in English, please let us know.
We are happy to provide a consultation – in person or online. We offer research guides and recommended resources, including subject guides.
We look forward to seeing you sooner or later. Do not hesitate to contact us with issues and suggestions.

The modern premises were created by reconstructing rooms in the basement of Building J, which formerly housed the faculty cafeteria Krmítko, and offer doctoral students quality facilities for their dissertation research. The construction and furnishing of the new rooms was funded by the MUNI4PhD project.
