Internships

Erasmus+ Internship at Masaryk University

Erasmus+ placements are not dependent on inter-institutional agreements, however, the sending institution must be a holder of the Extended Erasmus University Charter (ECHE). The placements are undertaken based on a Learning Agreement for Traineeship, which needs to be signed and approved by the sending institution and the host institution, i.e. the respective department or faculty of Masaryk University (MU). Practicalities like accommodation, the university student card, etc. are arranged by the International Relations Office of the Faculty of Arts (int@phil.muni.cz)

International students interested in Erasmus+ placements at MU are encouraged to apply online in the ISOIS interface. Please, do not forget to upload all the necessary documents (Training agreement, CV, Transcript of Records, proof of English language competence). You can find the templates here.

Freemover

The term "freemover" is used for a student who is accepted to study or intern at a university in another country, usually for a semester, sometimes for a year, outside of any regular or standard programme (e.g. Erasmus or bilateral agreements between the two universities, etc.). Such a student is accepted at our university as an act of goodwill.

At Masaryk University it is the decision of individual faculties whether or not to admit freemovers. If you would like to study at Masaryk University with the status of “freemover”, please contact the faculty international office.
