List of study programmes for the rigorous exam
View
You can take a state rigorous exam if you have completed a Master’s degree study programme. Part of the exam is the defence of the rigorous thesis work. This work must contain original processing of the field of study or original research results in the given field, at a level corresponding to the publishing standard in that field. After the rigorous thesis defence, you will receive a diploma and an academic title of PhDr., RNDr., JUDr., or other. The title is written before the name and reflects the field of study in which the thesis was defended. The system of preparation and the conditions for rigorous examinations are determined by the faculties.
A faculty guideline is currently being prepared to follow the new MU Rigorous Examination Procedure Regulations, effective from 1 September 2024, therefore we are not accepting applications for the rigorous examination at this time. We expect the publication of the Faculty Directive during the autumn semester 2024.
