The Ministry of Culture announces a call for applications for the provision of support for hosting foreign lecturers for teaching at universities in the field of artistic and creative creation II.

The aim of the call is to support education projects within the framework of master and doctoral teaching programmes of universities focused on the field of cultural and creative creation through the hosting of foreign lecturers. The aim is to increase the motivation of art and creative university students to acquire education in these fields through networking with renowned experts of world renown, to enrich teaching with the experience of these lecturers and to develop the skills of professionals in the cultural and creative industries through higher education.

A foreign guest lecturer is defined as a teacher or active professional working abroad in the field of cultural or artistic creation. A foreign lecturer is a person with non-Czech citizenship or a person with Czech citizenship but who has been working abroad for a long time as a teacher or making a living abroad in the fields. Only those projects that start a new cooperation with a foreign lecturer are supported. Projects that build on previous cooperation between the university and foreign lecturers will not be supported; the period of previous cooperation will be counted from 1st January 2019.

The project implementation period is from 1st March 2024 to 31th May 2024.

The project proposal must be submitted to the grant portal of the Ministry of Science and Technology by 19th January 2024. If you are interested, please contact the Research and Development Department immediately, but no later than 10th January.
