Open Day 2024: See what it looked like here
The traditional special open day took place on Saturday, 19 October, and was attended by approximately 540 applicants.
After a year and a half of distance learning, students returned to the Faculty at the beginning of the autumn semester, symbolically in the year when we commemorate the centenary of the start of regular teaching at our Faculty. So there was all the more reason to celebrate the beginning of this semester in an extra special way. On Monday, 13 September 2021, the dean, Prof. Milan Pol, opened it with his greeting in the faculty courtyard, and together with the former dean, Prof. Josef Krob, they symbolically toasted its success. Subsequently, representatives of the non-profit organization Mission of Hope together with the Vice-Dean doc. Jana Horáková awarded the prizes to the winners of the competition It Begins with an Idea and the program was rounded off by a musical-dramatic performance Horrorroperras of the Elbe River staged by Ensemble Opera Diversa. The attendees had the opportunity to see the upcoming café counter in the Reading Room and also to finally meet in person. The pleasant atmosphere of the event was captured by Jitka Janů through the lens of her camera.
