The aim of the project is to buy a licence for the approach to three basic arthistorical and arttheoretical reference tools, and subsequently: to get an access for the scholars working in the field of history of art and architecture to them. They will be bought the following licences, as: Art Full Text; Art Index Retrospective: 1929-1984 (both edited by H.W.Wilson,New York); Grove Art Online (edited by Oxford University Press). For the effectual expend of the financial means and for the broader access of the scholars to the reference tools, there is established a consortium, covering three institutes of the Universities and five distinguished arthistorical libraries. The office for the reference tools at Faculty of Arts of MU in Brno, which is a basic part of the whole consortium, will collaborate with the office working succesfully in the research programme LI (200031) by MSMT.
