A project "Institutions of a public sector in a historical perspective" is focused on evolutionary and institutional foundations of a public sector and on selcted themes is illustrated its economical dimension. In this way the project aims to enrich theoretical foundations of a discipline of a public economics. Contemporary theories of a public economics are mostly created for institutions of democratic societes, but public sector in itself is connatural and accordingly is independent form democracy. So that is why the project will be focused on a relatively unknown history of selected institutions of a public sector, which will be presented not only as a part of economical history, but also in connestion with synchronous economic thought.
