The project will create conditions for improving the employability of graduate teachers from Masaryk University in Brno and the University of St. Cyril and Methodius in Trnava. A joint educational programme of excursion teaching in the cross-border region of Hodonín, Breclav, Skalica, Senica and Trnava will be developed, tested, and implemented. Continuous cooperation between partner universities in training future teachers of civic education, basic social sciences and teaching of these subjects in the regional education system of the Czech Republic and Slovakia will contribute to overcoming social and cultural barriers between the border regions. The project has two target groups - students in full-time and life-long education and in-service teachers. The outputs of the project will also be useful for the public in the field of culture and tourism in the region.
