Historical cultural landscape represents multi-layered set of natural and anthropogenic facts, resulting from their interactions. Landscape patterns determine land-use not only throughout the last few years, but also in many centuries back. The project is aimed at identification and documentation of anthropogenic features in afforested environments that will lead to a creation of a geodatabase of such relicts, accompanied by 3D models of these features in different stages of preservation. This database should then serve to the end-user as a methodological guide, as to how manage afforested historical landscape. Created maps, based on DMT (5th generation), LiDAR, and historical maps, will be useful in historical landscape protection and spatial planning and regional development, tourism, and education.
