The aim of the project is to integrate and extend available knowledge on media and contextual variables associated with change regarding European children’s and adolescents’ digital skills acquisition and online resilience. Skills and resilience, we propose, mediate between individual (demographic, psychological) variables and outcomes on psychological and physical well-being as well as social inclusion and rights. Our focus will thus be on well-being as the main outcome, enriched by a detailed consideration of both direct and indirect impact of risky and beneficial activities on media platforms accounting for diverse psycho-social and environmental influences in childhood and adolescence. The project will be submitted as proposal to Horizon2020 framework programme.
