At the beginning of the 20th century, the Grandmaster of the Teutonic Order, archduke Eugen of Austria-Teschen, created an extensive art collection in Bouzov Castle. After the First World War, the collection was, as the property of a member of the Habsburg family, confiscated and spread across Czechoslovakia. The project aims to recreate the collection’s appearance and discover the motivations for its creation. Using available archival materials, the form of the collection will be established.
