Description | The aim of the publication is to acquaint the readers with different fields of personnel psychology – its enumeration, specification and practical use. It is not a case of exhaustive text but rather a guide about the range of whole mentioned discipline. The text is based on classical concepts related to personnel management (human resource management, curriculum vitae, etiquette in work relations...) as well as more current concepts which follow from practical needs of present companies, theirs employers and personnel managers – from the most significant we can name for example intellectual capital, personnel planning, assessment centre, headhunting, outplacement...etc. This guide provides complex view of work of personnel psychologist and it refills narrowed view of HR specialist ´s work, which is often perceived only as a work of payroll accountant and recruiter. |
