Description The objective of this paper is to present and discuss issues of contemporary history of education, which is in the Czech environment received relatively little attention. Authors focus on the methodological issues of contemporary history of education research in the first part of the contribution. In the second part of the paper authors focus on the concept of teaching contemporary history of education in the digital age. In this section considers the teaching based on modern teaching paradigms, but also on contemporary historical concepts.
