| Description | Ethanol at clinically relevant concentrations considerably affects the rat ventricular IK1 which might contribute to the effect of alcohol consumption on the cardiac ventricular electrophysiology. In atria, the sensitivity is notábly lower. Hence, the observed alterations in the atrial electrophysiology are likely caused by another ionic current. |
