| Description | The celebration of victory over Swedes was one of the most important events of baroque era in Brno. For this occasion composed Joseph Umstatt oratory Durch das Treu und die Andacht gecrönte Jahr-Hundert about Brno and Moravia. This paper also focus not only on musical-rhetorical figure, but on the language and musical analysis of the oratory. The music symbolism ilustrate score and music examples. |
