Description Contemporary productions of early music focus mainly on a historically-educated approach to musical production, and in the case of stage plays, it is often the reconstruction of the original form of the work. The ensemble Musica cum gaudio, which has been active in the field of historical interpretation since 2009, is looking for an alternatives to this way of thinking - the effort is not simply a reconstruction, but rather an affecting the audience by a feature of Baroque art - affects. The main task of the stage processing of 17th-century Italian madrigals is the mediation of the meaning of the affects into present-day graspable parallels. The contribution will deal with a specific scenic approach, which the ensemble together with director Filip Jevic use in musical-dramatic productions Usurpator tiranno (2015) and Il fato tiranno (2017).
