Description | In her article, the author asks whether it is necessary to translate Bruno Schulz into Czech again, and if so, why. She points out the problematic nature of the authorship of part of the first translations of Bruno Schulz into Czech and performs a comparative analysis of the translation of selected short stories from individual (already canonical) editions. She places the current Czech translations in a broader (Central) European (and Israeli) context in order to show the translational development in schulzology and the newer tendency to find one translation voice. |
