Description | The lecture was dedicated to framing attitudes to reading and examining different goals, approaches and contexts. The sessions modelled several concrete examples of pre-reading, while-reading and after-reading activities as well as shared reading methods, and demonstrated the use of teaching aids for reading in the classroom. Further, they proposed ways in which reading in the ELT classroom may serve as a vehicle for learning across the curriculum. |
