Description This presentation examines language development in two bilingual children acquiring Czech and Spanish as their first languages. Using a mixed-method approach, the study explores interlinguistic influences, code-switching, and lexical borrowings. Key findings reveal rare but notable patterns in code-switching and semantic interference, while future research aims to quantify these trends and relate them to morphosyntactic development. This pioneering study fills a gap in Czech-Spanish bilingualism research and provides a foundation for further investigation in linguistics and related fields.
