The aim of this project is to support doctoral studies in the programmes of Romance Languages and Romance Literatures, where the Department of Romance Languages is one of the leading training institutes in the Czech Republic. Currently, there are 12 students enrolled in the programme of Romance Languages, 11 of whom are in the internal form of study and five internal PhD students are also in the programme with a specialisation in Experimental and Applied Linguistics. There are 14 students enrolled in the Romance Literatures programme and one PhD student is also enrolled in a programme specialising in Intermedia and Intercultural Communication. The project focuses on supporting research and other activities that contribute to the formation of the PhD student within the framework of the studies. These include facilitating access to sources and current literature, improving the quality of doctoral seminars and funding outputs and publications. Emphasis will be placed on enabling PhD students to actively participate in scientific symposia both in face-to-face and virtual form.
