Description The present study aims to elaborate a part of the research project supported by GAČR Determinants of life satisfaction and health of university students: body concept, health-supportive behaviour and selected personality characteristics no. 406/05/0564. The main goal of our previous research (Dosedlová, Slováčková, Klimusová, 2007) was to set and characterize different life styles types of university students regarding health-related behavior, compare different life style type profiles, and describe them on the basis of chosen personality variables. The present study is pointed at an relation analysis among life styles types and selected physical components (BMI, subcutaneous fat). Motivational factors of physical activity are taken into account as well. These relations are studied on population of contemporary university students of various majors.
