Description When using the foreign language, the pupils with communicative disturbance must face much larger hindrances than pupils who do not have this particular deficiency. To give them the chance to communicate in a foreign language, it is necessary to offer them appropriate aid. The paper at hand presents the linguistic, psychological and methodological sources of communicative FLT that include a series of impulses for successful acquisition with pupils with communicative disturbances. Not all of the principles, however, can be transferred automatically. That is why, the paper focuses on stating the modifications to these principles with regard to the oral communicative competence of pupils with communicative disturbances. Finally, one of the typologies of oral exercises is presented, together with several examples from lessons of German.
