Description In this report we present the results of a research whose aim was not only to contribute to deeper understanding of the learning styles - individual learning preferences of pupils aged 12-14 years (ie to find out what pupils are doing and what they require, when they learn), and to examine the level of their trait-anxiety, but also to explore the relation between learning styles and trait-anxiety. We also examined gender differences in the learning styles and the differences in the learning styles between pupils at elementary school and at grammar school. Within the framework of the issues of trait-anxiety we also focused on the gender differences in the level of trait-anxiety and the differences among pupils attending the above-mentioned types of school.
