University Walking Community 2024 volunteering programme

The Compostela Group of Universities (CGU) is launching the second edition of the University Walking Community 2024 (UWC) volunteering programme.

The UWC 2024 is aimed at the CGU community between 18 and 30 years old who wish to volunteer for 15 uninterrupted days, from 1 August to 15 August 2024, in town halls located along the Camino Francés as it passes through the Autonomous Community of Aragon (Spain).

There are 15 places available, and the selected volunteer will receive a grant in kind that covers civil liability and accident insurance, accommodation, local transport, participation in leisure activities and other benefits set out in the programme's guidelines, which can be found here.

The deadline for registration is 10 June 2024 (12.00 PM GMT). The application form and full details of participation are available here.

Short-Term Intensive Japanese Program (Winter 2024-2025)

We are pleased to introduce the AY2024 Winter Short-Term Intensive Japanese Program. The entire program comprises 46.7 hours of classroom instruction on Japanese language, plus 25 hours of lectures on Japanese culture and society including field trips. In this program, “Beginner” and “Elementary” level classes will be held. Students who have never studied Japanese are also welcome to join the program.

Scholarships available at univie: Summer School 2024

We would like to inform you that the Sommerhochschule offers scholarships to attend the univie: summer school – International and European Studies 2024. The application deadline for scholarship applications has been extended until March 31, 2024. Applications are still welcome! The univie: summer school will take place from July 13 to August 10, 2024. The four-week program offers high-level European Studies courses, the Austrian Arbitration Academy, and German language courses.
