On October 25, Masaryk University decided to transition from white to green-light rating on its traffic-light system.
The obligation to wear respirators and maintain distance between other people, valid for students and university staff, now applies to all MU premises.
The regulations therefore also apply to the premises of the Central Library, including study rooms and the Reading Room, where it is necessary to wear respirators at all times. The kaFFe coffee counter is introducing new measures in response to government regulations. The offer of food and drinks, which remains the same, will only be served in packaged form as a "takeaway". Consumption in the Reading Room will still be possible.
In case of new development, we will inform you on our Facebook page and here on our website in the news section.

The modern premises were created by reconstructing rooms in the basement of Building J, which formerly housed the faculty cafeteria Krmítko, and offer doctoral students quality facilities for their dissertation research. The construction and furnishing of the new rooms was funded by the MUNI4PhD project.
