Although it may seem that you have not heard from the HR Award team at our faculty for a long time, be aware that something is still happening.
Due to the pandemic, the Working Group's meetings have moved to the online environment, where the principles of the European Charter and the Code are now being regularly discussed, as well as the results of the questionnaire survey.
Within the four areas of the Charter and the Code (ethical and professional aspects, recruitment and selection, working conditions and social security, training and development), specific suggestions are already emerging for the Gap Analysis and the Action Plan. The draft of these documents will be submitted for comment to the heads of departments, the Academic Senate and the management of the Faculty of Arts. The final form of the materials will be approved by the Steering Committee HR Award, Faculty of Arts.
The Gap Analysis and the Action Plan will be sent to the European Commission for consideration in November. If we succeed, we will receive the HR Excellence in Research logo (HR Award certificate) and start work on the implementation of specific steps set out in the Action Plan.
The measures approved in the Action Plan will be presented to employees in autumn 2020 together with the results of the HR Award 2020 Questionnaire Survey.
