Gender equality in academia is increasingly discussed. If you feel like you don't know what it involves and what challenges need to be faced, we recommend watching a series of short informative videos recently published by the Nora Gender Information Centre on its YouTube channel.

In these videos, you will learn more about gender bias against women, psychological forms of gender-based violence, and sexual harassment in research and academic settings. There is also practical advice on how to behave when encountering sexual harassment and how to use gender-balanced language. In addition, the videos focus on bias against women in the recruitment process, the barriers women face in academic and research environments, and the economic aspects of gender inequality. Particular attention is also paid to the gender dimension in research content and to economic violence in the context of work-life balance.
