HR Award – Find out what topics are related to gender equality in academia
The Nora Gender Information Centre offers on its YouTube channel a new series of short informative videos on this topic.
During the spring of this year at the Faculty of Arts Masaryk University, the HR Award Questionnaire was completed. This determined compliance with the principles of the European Charter for Researchers and the Code of Conduct for the Recruitment of Researchers.
The results of the questionnaire survey were elaborated in detail in the Analytical Report, from which the Abbreviated Analytical Report presenting a summary of the most important findings was further derived. This report is available to all faculty employees on our HR Award website. For January next year, we are also planning an online presentation with the Vice-dean for Research and Development, where we will address the findings from the questionnaires. You will receive an invitation to this online presentation at the beginning of January 2021.
Once again, we would like to thank everyone who used this opportunity to influence the future working environment of our faculty and completed the HR Award questionnaire. We used your opinions in the processing of the Gap Analysis and the subsequent creation of the Action Plan.
Both documents were sent to the European Commission for assessment at the end of November this year. After receiving the result of the assessment of our materials by the European Commission, information seminars for faculty employees will take place where the accepted Action Plan will be presented.
We cordially greet you and wish you a peaceful Christmas time
Your HR Award team

Like the previous one, it will be used to create a new university-wide gender equality plan. In addition, the three-year gap will allow us to monitor how far we have progressed in this area.
