HR Award – Find out what topics are related to gender equality in academia
The Nora Gender Information Centre offers on its YouTube channel a new series of short informative videos on this topic.
It will help them to orient themselves not only in the requirements of the study but also at the faculty. It is available in Czech and English in both printed and electronic versions.
Early-stage researchers, including doctoral students, are one of the important target groups of the Action Plan HR Award FA MU. A handbook has been created for them to facilitate their orientation in the administrative requirements of studies and study obligations. It targets students who are new to the faculty. Therefore, it provides valuable tips on how things work at the faculty, where to study, print, borrow a book, etc. Fresh doctoral students will also find basic information on research projects or reporting publications, especially a signpost of links to websites where they can find out more if they need to.
The handbook is available in both Czech and English versions and electronically and in printed form. It will be given to new doctoral students upon enrolment. More advanced students can pick it up at the Office for Studies if they wish.
These activities are supported by the Operational Programme Research, Development and Education in frame of the project “Development of Human Resources and other strategic areas to support research at MU (HR4MUII)“, nr. CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/18_054/0014703.

Like the previous one, it will be used to create a new university-wide gender equality plan. In addition, the three-year gap will allow us to monitor how far we have progressed in this area.
