The questionnaire survey followed up on the gender audit from last year and, together with its results, will serve as a basis for the emerging MU Faculty of Arts Gender Equality Plan.
At the end of September and the beginning of October this year, we carried out a questionnaire survey Academic Career and Representation of Women in Decision-Making Positions at the Faculty of Arts, MU, as another activity from the Action Plan HR Award FF MU. The survey aimed to map the circumstances that prevent women from advancing in their academic and scientific careers, as well as the circumstances that prevent them from aspiring to and entering leadership and decision-making positions at FF MU.
The investigation followed up on the results of the gender equality audit at the FF MU, which was carried out in the spring of 2021. The mapping of the current situation at the FF MU is the basis for the emerging Gender Equality Plan FF MU and is intended to help ensure that the activities and measures of this plan can appropriately target existing problems.
Specific needs and resulting suggestions for change were provided by the female academics and researchers among whom the survey was conducted. The survey shows that they themselves want to participate in the changes and lead the dialogue on the issue of gender (in)equality at FF MU, and at the same time, they appreciate that FF MU has started to address this topic.
Detailed information can be found in the final analytical report.
