On 17th and 18th January, traditional Open Days took place at Faculty of Arts. This year, more than 1200 participants came to see our faculty.
MUNI Innovation Award – new Masaryk University award has its first winners.
On Thursday, 18 November, twenty-one new associate professors personally accepted their appointment decrees.
On 22 November, MU moved to the yellow level on the traffic-light system. At nine faculties the deans decided that students must comply with the O-N-T (Vaccinated – Recovered – Tested).
Due to the worsening pandemic, the MU Crisis Committee has recommended the implementation of measures corresponding with those of the yellow level of the traffic-light system. They went into effect on Monday, 22 November.
Due to the deteriorating COVID-19 situation, the MU Emergency Committee has decided to move to the green level of the traffic-light system. New measures will go into effect on 25 October.
The village of Hrušky will use one million crowns collected by Masaryk University to replace the floors and repair the roof, windows, and facade of the local school, which was damaged in a tornado in June. MU rector Martin Bareš handed over an oversized cheque to village and school officials.
The rematch between Mendel University and Masaryk University brought a great game of ice hockey with a thunderous atmosphere. The MU team won the match 4-2 after turning the score around, repaying their opponents for the loss they suffered two years ago.
After three semesters of online teaching, not only have Czech and Slovak students returned to Brno, but so too have students from around the world.
