| Description | This study deals with all available musicological texts, that reflect Jaroslav Kvapil's work as a whole. Those are mainly books, articles in magazines, dictionaries and chapters in monographs, whose common feature is to evaluate Kvapil's work and generally perceive it. Texts from Bohumil Kyselka, Vladimír Helfert, Jan Racek, Ludvík Kundera, Bohumír Štědroň, Jiří Fukač and Jiří Vysloužil are chronologically presented, where few issues are highlighted: characteristics of Kvapil's work, compositional influence of various composers and context of Janáček's school. |
