Description | This study investigates the effectiveness of focus groups (FGs) as a natural method for studying Second Language Acquisition (SLA), focusing on discourse markers in the interlanguage of Slavic learners of Italian. By comparing data obtained from traditional data collection methods (e.g., role-play, storytelling) with the underexplored use of FGs, the research highlights the varied functions of DMs in interlanguage, offering new insights into SLA research. |
