Information and instructions for admitted students
Enrollment in doctoral study programmes will take place on 10 September 2024 at 10 a.m. in room C11, building C, Arna Nováka 1. The enrolment will be in Czech language.
Only those admitted applicants who have completed their Master’s degree study programme and gained the corresponding academic title may be enrolled in the Doctoral study programme.
A Master's degree in the form of an authorized conversion is required prior to enrolment. If you do not have a diploma yet, you have to provide a proof of completion of your Master's degree, also in the form of an authorized conversion. Graduates of higher education studies at the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University do not need to submit the authorised diploma conversion or a confirmation of graduation in the e-application form; the degree will be verified in the Masaryk University Information System. Graduates of higher education studies of other faculties of Masaryk University shall insert a simple scan of their diploma or an electronic confirmation of graduation from the Masaryk University Information System into the e-application form.
Please upload the diploma/confirmation of graduation in the form of the authorised conversion directly into your e-application form by the deadline of 31 August 2024. In case of later submission, please send the diploma/confirmation of graduation to prijimaci.rizeni@phil.muni.cz by 9 September 2024 at the latest.

The Office for Studies will check the documents. Afterwards, the Decision of Admission to Study will be uploaded to your e-application and you will be able to enrol.
It is possible to authorise another person to accept the letter of acceptance to study and fulfil the enrolment process with a power of attorney (it does not need to be notary certified). It must be evident from the content of the power of attorney that the person is authorised to act as the principal for decision-making when assuming the acceptance to study and access and enrolment keys. The authorised person must have same documents as the applicant, with their own proof of identity. The required forms can be found in the section of Materials to Download.
