A fire test will verify faculty safety
A practice fire alarm will trigger a test of the fire alarm systems, signalling and evacuation radio in each building.
The aim is to support new employees as much as possible in successfully completing their probationary period, orientation to the workplace and the faculty, and integrating into the work team.
Starting a new job is not easy for most of us, and it is often not without initial fear and uncertainty. New colleagues at the Faculty of Arts can now ease this challenging period with an adaptation process clearly described in the internal regulations Onboarding and adaptation process at the Faculty of Arts of MU.
The whole process will be significantly facilitated by the new Employee Adaptation application in the INET information system, which will guide both the newcomer and the HR manager or supervisor through the necessary steps to be taken for a successful start of a career at the MU Faculty of Arts. In addition, each employee can be assigned an informal adaptation guide (buddy), which can help them to orient themselves in the new environment.
A source of information is also the new Handbook for new employees or the induction workshop, where newcomers will be introduced to important practical information about the running of the faculty.
These activities are supported by the Operational Programme Research, Development and Education in frame of the project “Development of Human Resources and other strategic areas to support research at MU (HR4MUII)“, nr. CZ.02.2.69/0.0/0.0/18_054/0014703.
A practice fire alarm will trigger a test of the fire alarm systems, signalling and evacuation radio in each building.
It follows Faculty of Arts MU Directive No. 2/2022 on methods and principles of internal and external communication. It specifies, for example, the creation of new profiles and also defines content and security rules. It also introduces the Ten rules of social networks.
